The expression “good things come in small packages” perfectly describes Lisa Lindblad Travel Design, a boutique travel company specializing in bespoke journeys. Its team of two brings forty years of combined experience traveling around the world and first-hand knowledge of the destinations, hotels and experiences it recommends.

Every journey is designed and managed from start to finish with close personal involvement. The team brings the full breadth and depth of its travel expertise to each planning process, creating an itinerary shaped around the individual client rather than adapting a standard route.

Lisa Lindblad Travel Design accepts only a limited number of trips at any one time, allowing both designers to give every guest their full attention. Everything they recommend comes from curiosity, experience and genuine destination knowledge. For this deliberately small agency, personal service is fundamental to making every journey as thoughtful, seamless and individual as possible.

East Africa Lisa lived in the Maasai Mara in Kenya for 2 years and made wildlife films in the Serengeti, Tanzania, for 18 months.

Uruguay Lisa owns a home in Uruguay and has extensive first-hand knowledge of the country.

Italy and France She has family ties to the region, visits regularly and used to own a house in Provence.

Curated Guide Selection A key to our trips are the private guides we know and love all over the world.

Private Homes and Villas We offer private homes that are not on the open market, be they mountain chalets or beachside villas, African lodges or city apartments. We offer a range of exclusive access to private homes, collections, sites and activities.

What they don't do We do not do pieces of a trip, only start to finish; no pre-packaged tours; we do not mark up our costs above published rates; we don’t arrange visits or encounters that involve animal exploitation such as elephant polo, swimming with captive dolphins.
