The house

Blueflower is a luxury travel agency specializing in bespoke journeys across Asia. Founded in Hong Kong in 2016 by Andrea Oschetti, it has teams in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Manila and Milan, serving experienced international travelers seeking a deeper connection with the places they visit.

Drawing on Oschetti’s background in finance, travel journalism, photography and hospitality, Blueflower combines meticulous planning with cultural insight and trusted relationships throughout Asia. Every tailor-made journey begins with understanding the client’s interests, pace, preferences and previous travels before deciding what to include, what to avoid and where to leave space.

Blueflower’s Guardian Angels coordinate hotels, guides, transport, restaurants and experiences, remaining available throughout each journey to adapt plans in real time. Its approach to luxury travel is defined by meaningful access, personal attention, discreet service and freedom from worry.

The practice

Where they send

Japan 150–200 bespoke journeys annually, 1,000+ suppliers and specialists, repeated founder travel and unusual depth well beyond the classic Tokyo–Kyoto circuit.
Southeast Asia Blueflower is Asia-based, with longstanding local relationships and particular strength in journeys combining major cultural centers with quieter rural, coastal and island regions.
Hong Kong Andrea’s home for approximately 25 years, giving us lived knowledge, personal relationships and a genuinely local perspective.
The Himalayas Deep experience combining exceptional mountain landscapes with culture, trekking, remote lodges and highly experienced local guides. Andrea reported for CNN and other leading international media from the Himalayas for over a decade.
India Strong guide and specialist networks, with an emphasis on cultural interpretation, access, food and distinctive hotels.
Italy Andrea’s home country, combining cultural fluency with deep supplier knowledge and an instinct for taking clients beyond the predictable version of Italy.
East and South Africa Established safari relationships across multiple ecosystems, with a strong understanding of how to pair camps, guides, conservation experiences and landscapes into one coherent journey

In-house

Founder-Led Destination Expertise Andrea remains directly involved in destination research and product development and travels repeatedly to Blueflower's core destinations.
Guardian Angel Service Clients have a dedicated WhatsApp-based support channel monitored by our team while traveling, allowing us to solve problems, adapt arrangements and assist in real time rather than handing travelers an itinerary and disappearing.
In-House Journey Design Trips are built as coherent journeys rather than collections of bookings, with internal itinerary review, operational QA and pre-departure trip auditing.
Complex Logistics Rail, luggage forwarding, drivers, domestic flights, ferries, boats, self-drive routing and difficult multi-stop journeys are designed as part of the experience rather than treated as transportation between experiences.
What they don't do We generally do not take on hotel-only requests, transactional booking work or trips that a client has already designed and simply wants us to execute.

Asia Times — In a previous incarnation, Oschetti was a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he had no complaints — just itchy feet and a kind of alertness to the passing of time that seems rare, plus a genuine “carpe diem” desire.
